12 Feb New device could save Grafton ice arena $6,700 a year
The Grand Forks Herald reports that the Grafton Parks and Recreation Board has applied for a grant to help cover the cost of a REALice System for the Centennial Center Ice Arena in Grafton, ND. The seasonal facility, open around six months a year and resurfaces an average of 7 times a day when it is open, is expected to save upwards of $6,000 per year in energy costs by installing REALice’s cold water resurfacing technology.
